Let’s get the lowdown on this men’s lifestyle blogger…
Before my life as a blogger my working life started out in accountancy which about as boring as it sounds. When I was 21, I decided enough was enough and handed in my resignation to go to university and study Public Relations; a decision I most definitely don’t regret.
Whilst at university I starting working with a local fundraising group, Pink Wig Events, raising funds for breast cancer charities both locally and nationally. To date we’ve raised close to £70,000 – which I’m so proud about!
Okay, after uni?
Back into the real world with a bang. Having secured an internship at one of the UK’s leading food, drink, travel and luxury PR agencies – working across a number of sectors I found that content creation and digital marketing was totally me and rose through the ranks as a digital executive.
After 18 months or so working on digital marketing activities, including blogger relations and social media for national brands. I took a sidestep away from Digital PR and into the full foray of digital marketing. Now predominantly working in the hospitality sector.
So, why blog?
Throughout university I blogged about my personal life and found it unbelievably rewarding and helped me overcome many troubling obstacles along the way.
Going into my working life and making a career out of creating content the only thing I lacked was, time. Now, I’ve the resource and the capacity to completely immerse myself into this new new adventure of becoming a men’s blogger!
